Kokoro tokasu
kokorotokasu
A word 'Tokeru (means melt)' is used when we say
'clear up the misunderstanding (Gokai ga tokeru)', or
'open up with somebody (Uchi tokeru)' in Japanese.

'Tokeru (melt )' has an image that perfectly suits to
the feelings we get when the state of our minds
change from rigid and heavy to light and expanded.

The 'melting heart' moments are often followed by
changes of our perspectives or even actions.
By painting these works,
I wished to perceive the silent
metamorphoses in us.
